Happy Monday! The last few weeks have been a bit busy and I haven’t really had a moment to give my blog the attention it deserves. My downtime has been filled with lots of puppy snuggles, naps, and trips to Costco. (We recently signed up for a membership and omg you guys, it’s so worth it.) I don’t have a ton to say right now so why not do a little photo dump or: life according to my iPhone!

Boston 2021
Matt ran the Boston Marathon in early October. I always get so emotional seeing Matt finish a marathon and this time was no exception. He didn’t run his best race (he didn’t train with nutrition – big no no!) but seeing him run down Boylston gave me all the feels. He’s got such a competitive attitude and never gives up, even when things are really not going his way. We ate dinner in the North End twice(!) at Lucca and Carmelina’s and then somewhere in Cambridge on our last night. .
We also spent a dayish in Portsmouth, New Hampshire! Such a cute, little town about an hour north of Boston. There are a ton of shops, restaurants, and parks; we stopped at Popovers on the Square for a coffee and snack break when I saw their seasonal menu included the yummiest-sounding chai latte: maple, brown sugar, and something else. OMG I will never forget how delicious it was.
One of my favorite things to do in Boston is to walk up and down the streets of Beacon Hill. In the fall, they’re all decorated so beautifully for Halloween and other fall festivities. And so many of them have fun doorknockers. Another thing I like to do: look up the last-sold prices for my favorite homes. A girl can dream, I guess.

Personal Update
And here’s a couple pictures of Ellie looking cute, like always. She is such a photogenic dog! I’m working on convincing Matt to move to the suburbs because she deserves a yard. You know what he said to me? “The lakefront is a bigger yard than we can give her.” eye roll
Matt and I went to the Chicago Bears home opener courtesy of his Uncle Bruce! (Thank you!). And! One of my sisters, Jessie, had a birthday! The Big 2-8. (Holy Crap I am OLD.)
Charlotte Wedding Weekend
And most recently, we went to Charlotte! My sister, Megan, and now brother-in-law, Kyle, got married! EEK! It was such a fun weekend and I wish we could relive it every weekend! Alas… I spent the last weekend working and will be doing the same this weekend – yay!
