I took the liberty of combining three of my favorite treats to create one delectable dessert: salted caramel pretzel fudgy brownies. Every bite is filled with gooey caramel, salty pretzels, and chocolaty goodness.
The other day, I was doing some blog research and like most food bloggers, I turned to the super successful and talented team over at Pinch of Yum. (If you don’t know them, I suggest you get familiar. Lindsay and her team creates awesome recipes while her husband, Bjork, shares a lot of behind-the-scenes-geek-stuff-that-is-also-incredibly-helpful.) And I was browsing through their income and traffic reports to see what I can be doing differently to grow this here blog.
Sidenote: They’ve even created this community called FoodBloggerPro where they share tutorials, host webinars, and have a very helpful forum for bloggers and wannabe bloggers. You can sign up for the waitlist here.
So I get to the bottom of one of their income reports and I see that the next post is for a White Chocolate Cheesecake Brownie. And, you guys, I began to salivate. But then I was like, “I can do this! I have cheesecake and white chocolate in my kitchen right now.”
Then! I was inspired. Inspired to actually create my own brownie recipe combining my favorite things: gooey caramel, salty pretzels, and fudgy brownies. Yes, oh, YES! Like. What is better than that combination of goodness?
Not much.
You probably hear all the time to just stick to boxed brownie mixes because homemade brownies are a pain. Or they’re too hard. Or blah blah blah.
Because really, the only ingredient(s) you may not already have is the unsweetened cocoa powder or the caramel sauce. If you don’t have the caramel sauce, you can go without though I recommend that you don’t! But you guys. You can have deliciously fudgy homemade brownies in the same amount of time it takes to make the boxed stuff. #ImpressiveAF
