The Sephora Spring Savings event opens up to VIB members on Tuesday, April 5. (The Sephora Spring Savings Event officially started on Friday, April 1 for Rouge members but I don’t personally know too many people who spend $1,000+ at Sephora every year.) VIB members can take 15% off their entire purchase and receive free shipping using the codes SAVESPRING and FREESHIP. Insiders can begin shopping the sale on Thursday, April 7 but can prepare their carts before then. And everyone is eligible for 30% off the entire Sephora Collection no matter when you shop. (This is a great deal, in my opinion!)

I am not big into makeup and have my routine pared down. All I need is some acne/scarring coverage, some color, a glow, and a swipe of mascara and I’m good to go. I do, however, like to shop the Sephora Spring Sale for non-makeup items like hair care, skin care, and more. I also like to use this time to stock up on my favorite items in the mini sizes for travel.
Amika The Wizard Detangler: This detangling spray is truly magic. On top of its detangling powers, it is a heat protectant and it smells amazing. Just spritz, comb, and you’re good to go. Seriously.
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo: Like The Wizard detangler, this dry shampoo smells delicious! This is my holy grail dry shampoo.
Amika Soul Food Hair Mask: This hair mask hydrates and repairs hair, leaving your hair feeling soft and smooth after your shower.
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriching Face Primer: This primer makes my skin feel amazing and so hydrated. It’s great as a primer or on its own.
Ouai Detox Shampoo: I love to use this detox shampoo once a week to cleanse my head from whatever I put it through the last week. It smells clean and leaves my hair feeling silky.
Ouai Medium Shampoo & Medium Conditioner: This shampoo and conditioner is made for “medium” hair (as opposed to fine or thick) and it smells amazing.
The Ordinary Niacinamide: My skin hydration has improved 1,000% since I began using this product. All I do is apply to damp skin, apply serums, and then moisturize.
The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser: I love pre-cleansing with this product to remove makeup and other impurities.
Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops: This product is great if you just want a little glow. All you need to do is add a few drops (I do 6-8) into your moisturizer. The tan builds gradually and doesn’t leave you looking streaky or orange. (Use less drops if you’re applying it to your face.)
Sephora Collection Melting Cleansing Balm: This product is really similar to The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. I like it because, since it’s a balm, I can bring it on planes without worrying about the size.
Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask: My holy grail lip product! I apply as needed before bed and wake up with hydrated lips. This is especially necessary in the winter!
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt: The perfect perfume for everyday wear.
Ilia Skin Tint with SPF 40: This tint comes in a wide variety of shades and undertones and, as a bonus, contains SPF 40!
Ilia Blush & Lip Tint: All I need is a few dabs onto my cheeks and blend for a rosy glow.
Saie Glowy Dewy Highlighter: Self explanatory!
Biossance Squalane Oil: For the ultimate moisturizing experience! I put on damp skin for best results.
And here are a few of my other, not pictured, favorite products from the Sephora Spring Savings Event!
Supergoop Mattescreen: I like the matte sunscreen rather than the unseen sunscreen (a crowd favorite) because I tend to get oily and this keeps unwanted shininess at bay.
I love to “treat myself” with these face and eye masks. They’re fun at home, to gift your girl friends, or travel! Just pop a couple in your toiletry case.
I’m obsessed with Tom Ford “Soleil Blanc” perfume. It’s very pricey but the “mini” size fits within my budget. I am also a huge fan of Replica “Sailing Day” perfume.
