FALL in love with this Spiced Pumpkin Bread recipe. It is every bit as yummy as it is delicious. And with earthy fall spices and moist pumpkin, it is sure to be a fall favorite!
HAPPY OCTOBER! Aw, yeah, it’s time to break out the dancing pumpkin gif! I recently did some research and found out where this gif is from. So, apparently, a news station out in Nebraska needed to fill some airtime so one of their newscasters put on a unitard and a pumpkin mask and started dancing to the Ghostbusters theme song.
Weird Interesting, right?
Aside from the dancing pumpkin man gif, I love love love fall for so many other reasons. For starters, it is so nice to be able to go outside without sweating. Crisp, fall air is a YEAH GIRL in my book. And you know, scary movies (more like excessive rewatches of Hocus Pocus but whatever), apple orchards (apple donuts!), and mums! I’m pretty sure mums are my favorite flower. Oh, did I mention pumpkin? The color pumpkin, pumpkin-flavored coffee (but not pumpkin spice lattes – I cannot get into those), and pumpkin foods!
Spiced Pumpkin Bread
So the other day I was sitting at the school playground while the girls I watch were playing with friends. One of their friends walked over to her sitter and asked if they could go to Starbucks so she could get some pumpkin bread. And I was like, PUMPKIN BREAD. I NEED THIS.
And I just thought that was so sweet but like, pumpkin bread needs to be an everyday thing in the fall, you know? How many times per year can you eat pumpkin or pumpkin-things without people thinking you’re a total weirdo? Not many!
So I whipped up this delicious Spiced Pumpkin Bread and today I’m sharing the recipe with you guys because it’s something you need in your life from now until Thanksgiving. Truly! (Because that’s when peppermint takes over for ya girl.) What I love about this pumpkin bread recipe – besides everything – is that it’s so easy to double so if you want to make muffins and loaves of bread – YOU CAN! Or, if you’re like me, you can (and you should) make a half-dozen mini loaves, wrap ’em up in cling-wrap and freeze until you’re running low on your counter inventory.
And although this recipe is called Spiced Pumpkin Bread, there is nothing spicy about it. The spices in the bread are so warm and homey and everything you’d expect fall to taste like. You know?
